Mobile Marine Engineer Services
and Emergency Callout.

When you call out a qualified mobile marine engineer, you want practical advice, and the confidence that you are going to get the job done safely and at a reasonable cost and time.
And that's what you get from Canal Life'
A Mobile Marine Mechanic, that provides a unique mobile Towpath service, not only for narrowboats, we also maintain cruisers, outboards and even jet Ski's.
So why not check out our sister site
www.mobilemarinemechanic.co.uk

Boats have a nasty habit of breaking down in the middle of nowhere when you least expect it, so with that in mind I come equipped with my own unique towpath toolkit.

My towpath tool bag, comes with everything I need to get you cruising again as quickly as possible. Its kitted out with: test meters for gas leaks, battery and alternator testing and electrical fault finding as well as solar and inverter repairs.
I also carry the normal hand tools you would expect any diesel inboard engine/outboard engine engineer & Electrical mechanic to carry with both imperial and metric spanners and sockets.

Canal life Service Van
But for the bigger jobs I can return to the van, which has everything I need. Including an extensive range of specialist tools for specific marine engines as well as the spare parts and equipment needed.
I have even been known to carry out a complete engine strip down and rebuild on the towpath on occasions.
And for you eco minded cruisers I am fully equipped to maintain and support a range of electric and Hybrid propulsion systems.
The van is a complete mobile workshop as well as used for emergency callouts with a heavy duty generator and high volume submersible pumps.

And when it comes to servicing, theres nothing worse than oil anf fuels smells filling the boat.
When it comes to servicing a narrowboat or twin engine cruisers, I provide a prompt efficient and clean service. waste engine oil is pumped quickly from the engine via the dipstick tube straight into the sealed oil tank, so there's no more wasted time hand pumping the oil out. And what's more I take the waste oil and old filters away, quick easy and no mess!

For more information on fixed price servicing please go to the Towpath boat servicing page........
